Every March, the staff at CVC participates in a medical service mission in Honduras treating patients with severe varicose veins and leg ulcers caused from vein problem. The medical mission is coordinated through the Hackett-Hemwell Foundation. Approximately 1200 Hondurans patients (17% with leg ulcers) are treated during the week long Vein Week in make-shift clinics set up in 3 different Honduran cities. The week is hard work, yet very

rewarding.
